HOW THE RALLY WORKS
Accuracy matters more than speed
Each team consists of a visually impaired navigator and a sighted driver. The navigator receives the route instructions in Braille and communicates directions, timing information and important route references throughout the event.
Teams follow a predetermined route and must report at designated checkpoints at precise times. The aim is to remain accurate and consistent, not to drive as fast as possible.
SCORING

BRIEFING

Public-road rules always apply
Rallies take place on public national and provincial roads. Drivers are never expected to exceed legal speed limits or break traffic regulations to remain on schedule.
Participants remain responsible for traffic offences. Reckless or dangerous driving may result in disqualification and exclusion from future events.
